“THE THREE BEST WEAPONS”
“For although we walk in the flesh, we do not militate according to the flesh; because the weapons of our militia are not carnal, but powerful in God for the destruction of fortresses, breaking down arguments and every arrogance that rises against the knowledge of God, and leading captive all thoughts to obedience to Christ”. (2 Corinthians 10: 3-5)
There is an ongoing war, but GOD is fighting on our side and has given us the weapons we need. Here are the three main spiritual weapons you can use to fight the enemy:
- The Word of GOD: receive it through preaching, teaching, reading and personal study of the Bible. Continue in the Word until it becomes a revelation given by inspiration of the HOLY SPIRIT.
- Praise: This defeats the devil faster and more efficiently than any other battle plan, but it must be a genuine praise that comes from the heart, not just from the lips out or as a religious ritual.
- Prayer: Prayer is a relationship with GOD, communicating with Him, asking for help or talking with Him about whatever is in your heart. It also includes being calm in the presence of GOD, hearing him speak to your heart.
To have an effective prayer life, we must develop an intimate and personal relationship with the FATHER. Recognize that He loves you and wants to help you.
Dear LORD, thank you for giving us the spiritual weapons we need to gain victory and continue to walk protected, by the good ways of Your great will. In the name of JESÚS. Amen and Amen.
